Prince Harry is expected to embark on a mega media blitz to promote his tell-all memoir ahead of its release in the new year.
His leading interview will be with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on January 8, just two days before the book hits the shelves.
There are fears Harry will use the CNN interview to take aim at the royals and give viewers a preview of some of the more dramatic claims that are to come in the book.
The interview is slated to be broadcast on Mr Cooper's 60 Minutes show on American TV network CBS.
A television source told the Daily Mail :
"It is a prime-time Sunday show which hosts foreign leaders and presidents. It’s the one that all the politicians and decision-makers watch."
The presenter also has experience covering the war in Afghanistan, where Harry completed two tours with the British army.
