THE POLICE MANGALHAT DETECTED A GANJA CASE, WHEREIN ACCUSED WAS APPREHENDED RED-HANDEDLY WITH POSESSION OF COMMERCIAL QUANTITY OF GANJA WEG.20.5 KGs.
CRIME NO.276/2021, U/s.8 (c), r/w.20 (b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act – 1985 of P.S MANGALHAT, HYD.
DETAILS OF ACCUSED:
A.1 H.Akash Singh, S/o.late Manna Singh, aged 32 yrs, Caste: Lodha-BC, Occ: Ganja supplier, R/o.Jhinsi Chowrai, Lower Dhoolpet, Mangalhat, Hyderabad.
(A.1 was arrested on 29.10.2021 and produced before the Hon’ble court).
A.2 Chintu Singh, aged about 22 yrs, R/o.Mangalhat. (worker of A.1 and abscounding)
A.3 Satya Teja (Ganja supplier), R/o.Vishakapatnam, A.P. (abscounding).
DETAILS OF SEIZURE
1) Two plastic gunny bags containing loose Dry Ganja, total weg.20.5 KGs.
2) Toyota Innova Car bearing registered No.TS.12.EB.0657 (using in commission of offence)
BREIF FACTS OF THE CASE:
As per the instructions of the superior officers and respected Jt. Commissioner of Police, HFAC DCP, WZ, Hyd officer to curb the illegal activity of sale of Ganja and end of Ganja menace in Dhoolpet area, the Police Mangalhat started collecting clues & information about sale & supply of Ganja especially significant quantity of Ganja. Whereas collected credible information about the regularly supply of Ganja by notorious drug offender by name Akash Singh.
On receipt of information, today i.e., 29.10.2021 at 17:10 hrs, A.1 Akash Singh was apprehended by Police Mangalhat red-handedly with possession of Ganja weg.20.5 KGs in two plastic gunny bags, which are hided in his car at back side seat, near a tiffin center at Aghapura, Mangalhat, Hyd. The A.1 Akash Singh confessed that since the year 2019, he is indulging in Ganja business by procuring the same from his sources at the rate of Rs.2,000/- per KG and after that supplying the same to needy customers at the rate of Rs.4,000/- to Rs.5,000/- per KG. He has engaged a worker by name Chintu Singh for assisting in Ganja supply on commission basis. Further his mother & brother also indulges in Ganja business, wherein case was booked against them in Excise P.S Dhoolpet. Cases were already booked against the regular customers of A.1 Akash Singh, whom he supplies Ganja in Dhoolpet and they were lodged in Jail.
On which a case in Crime No.275/2021, U/s.8 (c), r/w.20 (b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act 1985 of P.S Mangalhat was registered and took up further investigation. The A.1 his guilt in the commission of offence leads to seizure of property.
HISTORY OF THE ACCUSED:
The A.1 H.Akash Singh is well known drug offender and supplies Ganja to retailers in Dhoolpet area. He is resident of Jhinsi Chowrai area, Mangalhat. He studied upto 10th class and after that started business of supplying sound system & playing D.Js. The A.1 is married and blessed with three children. The A.1 have desire & always dreaming to leave his life lavishly which requires lot of money. As it is meager income and meanwhile in the year 2019, A.1 came to know about the Ganja business, which is heavy demand in Dhoolpet and earns easy money. The A.1 started Ganja business by well knowingly that it is an illegal one and consequently cases were booked against him.
Firstly A.1 used to purchase Ganja in small quantity of 1 to 3 KGs from villagers & agency areas, after that he used to sell the same in high rate in Dhoolpet. To increase his income, A.1 started purchasing huge quantity of Ganja and selling the same in high rate.
About (2) months back, A.1 purchased the Ganja weg.50 KGs at the rate of Rs.2,000/- per KG from his source of Vishakapatnam, A.P and after that he started supplying the same to needy customers & retailers. As Police are conducting raids, he started abscounding by using his Innova Car.
Today i.e., 29.10.2021 at 16:00 hrs, he started in his Innova car by keeping remaining Ganja, weg.20.5 KGs hided at back side seat for handing over the same to his worker A.2 Chintu Singh. The A.1 reached Aghapura road by avoiding Dhoolpet main roads and while he was passing near a tiffin center at Aghapura, Mangalhat, meantime Police apprehended him.
