In this video tutorial, I am describing the nature of stomata being very small and tiny structures. They are located mostly on leaves at lower, upper or both epidermises. They are made by two GUARD CELLS. In GUARD CELLS an aperture is formed which is, in essence a stoma. They show movement; closure and opening as their characteristic feature. They control and function for GASEOUS EXCHANGE and stomatal TRANSPIRATION. Yes, we can regulate the opening and closing of stomata as per our will. There are certain agencies which when applied can close and open stomata either in daytime or at night. Watch the video so you may get unabridged answer of the aforesaid question.
