Federal Labor releases Australian Government's email correspondence with Pfizer | 7NEWS

Federal Labor is claiming to have email proof that the Morrison government deliberately delayed key meetings with Pfizer executives which would have likely fast tracked vaccine supply.

Emails released as part of a freedom of information request show correspondence between the government and Pfizer bosses back in July last year. They paint a damning picture. With officials reluctant to progress with key meetings over disagreements with paperwork.

“It also confirms that the government inexplicably rejected an offer by Pfizer to have a high-level meeting, including with the global leadership of the Pfizer company” - Labor's Shadow Minister for Health Mark Butler MP.
