* *Aaj Ki Ta'leem* *
*the reward of Hadhrat Ibrahim AS carrying out the divine order*
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لَعَظَمَتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي اسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد و بارك وسلم
اما بعد
أَعـوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجيـم
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
فَلَمَّاۤ اَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهٗ لِلۡجَبِيۡنِۚ
Translation:
So, (it was a great episode) when both of them submitted themselves (to Allah's will), and he laid him on his forehead
.............
كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ
Translation:
This is how We reward those who are good in deeds.
_we are speaking about the sacrifice of Hadhrat Ibrahim AS and Hadhrat ismail AS_
_on they way to carry our the order of Allah Ta'ala, shaitan came 3 times trying to prevent it_
_from some narration we understand that Hadhrat ismail AS lied down facing the skies. Hadhrat Ibrahim AS tried to slaughter his son, but the knife wouldn't cut as though there was a barrier_
_Hadhrat ismail AS said that it may be the love of your child is preventing you from cutting... Therefore lie me down on my right_
_so he did this, even then it wouldn't cut... We need to remember here is that in the dream Hadhrat Ibrahim AS saw that he is slaughtering his son, he didn't see if he actually was slaughtered and head was apart,, he didn't see anything like that_
_the test was to see if he was going to carry this order out or not_
_Allah Ta'ala is granting them both great rewards in both worlds_
_the ayah says that this was a big great test, which Alhamdulillah they both passed_
_when Allah Ta'ala saw them carrying our the order, Allah Ta'ala sent down a ram to be slaughtered_
_the scholars say that this was the same ram mentioned in the story of the 2 sons of Hadhrat Adam AS_
_in Juz 6,
وَاتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَاَ ابۡنَىۡ اٰدَمَ بِالۡحَـقِّۘ اِذۡ قَرَّبَا قُرۡبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنۡ اَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمۡ يُتَقَبَّلۡ مِنَ الۡاٰخَرِؕ قَالَ لَاَقۡتُلَـنَّكَؕ قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ
Translation:
And recite to them the story of the two sons of Adam truthfully. When they both offered a sacrifice, then it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. He said, 'Z will kill you." He said, "Allah accepts only from the God-fearing.
_the sacrifice of habil was accepted and qabils sacrifice was refused_
_so, the animal habil sacrificed, which was living in jannah, was sent down by Allah Ta'ala for Hadhrat Ibrahim AS_
_then, in Juz 17, Allah Ta'ala says that the meat and blood doesn't reach Allah Ta'ala, but instead your Taqwa reaches there_
_the qurbani we do at the time of Eidul Adha is remembrance of this incident_
_scholars say that if Hadhrat ismail AS was truly slaughtered, then it would have been possible that we would have to slaughter one of our sons. But this didn't happen_
_and in the Hadith it says of qurbani, the most beloved deed to Allah Ta'ala is of slaughtering an animal_
_the lesson for us, ulama say is that we sacrifice an animal, but in reality we need to sacrifice our whims, desires and our nafs.. We need to give Deen priority_
_we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the ability to carry out all the orders of Allah Ta'ala, in the way shown by our Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم ameen_
_our name is Muslim and our actions should be of a true Muslim_
_we all have to leave this world one day, after that we will see the results of our actions_
_Just like we have sister farida Bai salim hasan, wife of salim bhai kathrada, who has passed away last night, we have to leave this world.. May Allah Ta'ala grant her forgiveness, have mercy and enter her into Jannatul firdaus ameen_
_we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the correct understanding and the ability to practice ameen_
سبحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا انْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتْوبُ إِلَيْكَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
