Alabama Councilman Uses Racial Slur To Refer To Black Colleague, Stuns Colleagues

Tarrant, Alabama Councilman Tommy Bryant stunned the room at a City Council meeting when he referred to his Black colleague, Veronica Freeman, as a racial slur. Directly afterwards, Freeman is heard sobbing into her hands before excusing herself from the meeting.
