Scientists in Chile say they are uncovering more about megaraptors, which would have been at the top of the food chain during the Cretaceous period. Researchers from the University of Chile working in Patagonia say they have unearthed the southernmost dinosaur fossils found outside of Antarctica. The Chilean Antarctic Institute says the discoveries will give them a better understanding of South America’s connection to New Zealand and Australia.
