It's Good Y'all! | Old Fashioned Beef & Noodles & AFTER the Holidays Fridge Clean out!

Hey family! In today's video the rain has returned and we're inside cooking and cleaning! I use the vacuum food sealer & storage trays that I got from Aldi to give it the refrigerator a little makeover! Then for supper we make some old fashioned Beef & Noodles, green beans, and rolls!

Old Fashioned Beef & Noodles recipe
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons Oil
1 beef roast
2 onions, sliced
32oz Beef Broth
1 packet Onion Soup Mix
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
12 oz Wide Egg Noodles

Instructions
Turn the pot on to Sauté setting. When the pot is hot, add the oil.
Add the Beef and brown both sides lightly.
Remove the browned beef in the pot (still on sauté), add 1 cup of the broth and stir, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pot.

Add the sliced onions and cook about 5 minutes.

Place the roast on top of the onions. Add the soup mix and the cream of mushroom soup.
NOTE: At this point in the video I covered, sealed, and set the cook time to 50 minutes, but I got the food burn notice, so I canceled it and added the rest of the broth. Then covered, sealed, and set to 50 minutes and we were all good! 😂👍 The soup was just too thick and when it started getting hot it ran to the bottom. So go ahead and add all of the broth, or some water before cooking.

When the cook cycle is finished let it slow release for around 5 minutes then quick release the pressure.

Remove the lid and take out the roast to shred or slice it. Turn on the Sauté function and add the noodles. Stir them in and submerge them.

Let the noodles cook until they are tender, stirring occasionally to make sure they don't stick, for about 5-8 minutes, then add the beef back in.
