When One Lateral Is Missing, It Is Usually Best To Take the Other

Watch this video to see why when one lateral is missing it is usually best to take the other. To make the face look as good as possible, both of the laterals have to be about the same size. Every case should be examined fully. If you can reduce the tooth structure without messing up the facial profile, it's sometimes very good to take teeth out on someone. You have a person who has a large tooth from one side of the family and a narrow tooth from the other side. You can't put the bigger teeth into a smaller bone structure and make it look decent. In my thinking, someone condemns extracting teeth to finish a case correctly is not using good judgement.
