In a massive boost to Ukraine's air defence, Kyiv has started receiving fighter jets from a Nato nation, according to the Pentagon.
Ukraine has been pleading with Western countries to help it with fighter jets to take on the mighty Russians.
Meanwhile, the US has not specified which country these fighters are from, though they are believed to be from Slovakia, which operates MiG-29 fighters.
