Footage released by a military arm of the self-proclaimed, pro-Russian, Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) on Monday shows the complete destruction of a village in the Popasna region of the Luhansk Oblast.
The video shows Novotoshkivske in ruins as well as troops, wearing LPR patches on their uniforms, on the ground.
The Governor of Luhansk Oblast Serhiy Haidai said on Monday that “enemy troops” had temporarily occupied Novotoshkivske and that fighting near the village continued.
