In this Episode of the Big Build Ed and Ollie have worked out their first set of rafters and cut this gable roof structure, They did really nicely and it was a perfect job, they are test driving my new simplified metric framing square and App. I am super proud of them!! I then took them through the scarf joint process and taught them how to set out a scarf joint in detail. The scarf joint is one of the nicest joints to do on site. it takes no time to do and no special tools are needed only a circular saw and a hand saw.
