The next few kilometers were uneventful, to say the least. I got out of the car at 49km, still shaken from the past few events, to check the vehicle's electronics and doors. Fortunately, everything was in order and I didn't have to deal with any bullshit monster by myself. I continued driving all the way until I reached the TAC, where I handed over the vehicle to the personnel present and headed to the break room.
