KABAYAN ACTION GROUP is created pursuant to the provision of the Philippine Constitution, Local Government Code Republic Act 7160, Peace and Order Council (EO09); cooperative Law (RA6939, 6389), in accordance with the Criminal Justice System – Community Oriented Policing System, People‘s Empowerment Policy of the Government for Kabayan Action Group National and its Chapters in the City of Bacoor to coordinate and assist DILG, PNP-NHQ, PNP-HPG, PNP-IAS, PNP-BACOOR and BARANGAY OFFICIALS to maintain Peace and Order mandated in accordance to the provision of the Philippine Constitution, Local Government Code Republic Act 7160, Peace and Order Council.
The Federation of IAS (Internal Affair Service) ratified the Kabayan Action Group as a participating group in national-building through Peace and Order which consolidated by the Executive Order No. 309 in coordination with the National Peace and Order Council and registered to the SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) with registration No. CN200255970.
Its mission and order to voluntarily rendered its services as follows:
To assist PNP in its campaign against Crime and Violence, Drug Abuse and other illegal Activities
To maintain Peace and Order thru monitoring and reporting Criminality and Lawlessness in the neighborhood. This Include Patrolling or Roving, Traffic Assistance and performs Citizen’s Arrest if needed as provided by law.
To assist in various Local Government Programs, Social and Civil activities which will include Livelihood and Self-Reliance Programs, Health & Sanitation, Sports Development, Moral and Spiritual Transformation.
To conduct Seminars, Public Dialogues and Meetings to organize local KABAYAN chapters throughout the country.
To coordinate with Local Government Officials and Police Station Commanders in the conduct of Seminars and other KABAYAN activities in the area.
Can carry Chuck, Teargas, Handcuffs, Nightsticks, Stun Gun or Electric Shock, Hunting Knife (7-8 inches including handle), “KABAYAN Police Auxiliary Badge”, can wear KAG uniforms (T-shirts, Long Sleeve and Black Fatigue Pants), proper KAG Identification Card like; PNP Force Multiplier I.D., Patrol 911, PNP-HPG and Rider’s Unit I.D. during lawful function.
Other special instructions covered by Memorandum, Office Orders or Confidential Missions.
