@Candace Owensfelt discriminated against when a private Covid-19 testing laboratory denied her request for a test due to Owens's record of spreading disinformation about masks and vaccines. Owens compared this action by a private company to Jim Crow-era racial discrimination suffered by Black Americans. The Majority Report crew disagrees with the actions of the clinic as medicine should not be privatized. And yet, the MR crew remains baffled at how people like Owens believe it is okay to spread disinformation and still be entitled to service by those same institutions they are working to undermine.
