Russia's Rosoboronexport announced new contract for the supply of the second set of S-400 to Turkey

A new contract for the supply to Turkey of the second set of the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system may be signed in the near future. This was stated by the general director of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev. In the framework of the Army-2021 international forum, answering a question from journalists about the prospects for signing a contract for the supply of a second set of S-400 air defense systems to Turkey, Mikheev explained that the agreement could be signed in the near future. According to him, the final consultations are currently underway, the next step will be the signing of the contract. As the head of Rosoboronexport noted, the IDEF 2021 arms exhibition, which ended in Turkey on August 20, in which the Russian delegation participated, greatly helped the progress in consultations with the Turks and the planned signing of the contract.
