We didn't expect to be planning our return to EdFringe this year, and we certainly didn't expect to be doing it with less than three weeks to prepare!
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is quite a special event - the largest arts festival in the world, it takes place in a beautiful city, attracts performers and audiences from literally everywhere, and also coincides with several other major arts festivals in Edinburgh. For us, it offers a unique opportunity to perform our shows for an extended run to a large and diverse audience, to see other shows of all genres from all over the planet, and to build relationships with other industry professionals - all in the midst of a massive celebration of the arts!
2020 was the first year the Fringe had ever been cancelled, and we really missed it. For 2021 it looked as though the Fringe would be greatly reduced and mostly online, so we weren't expecting to be taking a show to Edinburgh. However, at the beginning of August an email came in with a proposition... so we had to make a very quick decision!
We'll be performing in Edinburgh on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th of August, 3pm, at Underbelly George Square. You can find tickets here: http://www.underbellyedinburgh.co.uk/whats-on/northanger-abbey , and if you know anyone who is heading to the Festival, please send them our way!
