Friday the 13th Part 3. The third installment in the "Friday the 13th" series picks up on the day after the carnage with homicidal maniac Jason Voorhees (Richard Brooker) stealing some clothes and killing a local store owner. Meanwhile, Chris (Dana Kimmell) and her sometimes boyfriend, Rick (Paul Kratka), are hosting a group of teenage friends at Chris' lake house. Despite a run-in with a local biker gang, they enjoy an amiable weekend together -- that is, until Jason begins knocking off kids and bikers alike.
Flaw Vs. Awe Review RULES:
Anything that is just okay/meh is ignored. Anything that is bad/ terrible gets a Flaw. Anything good/great gets an Awe. This series focuses specifically on what works versus what sucks. Movies and Shows are broken down by scenes. Anything that stands out can earn only one point (F or A), however, combo points build up when a scene/moment has layers. For example, a scene can have an emotional payoff, great score and solid visuals layered into one moment that earns a combo point count. Also, for the sake of time, I might cover a big chunk, combining multiple scenes and again a combo point count will be shown. Once we count all of the Flaws and Awes, we then move to the Mapp Cinema-Score. We remove the F’s (flaws) away from the A’s (awes) which gives us a final score. This score could range from -200 to +200. Movies are then ranked against other movies. Shows are ranked against other episodes and other shows. Since shows spread the story over multiple episodes (seasons), they will not be ranked along with movies. These aren’t definitive scores either. You may score it differently and that’s where you can participate. Put your favorite scenes or most hated moments in the comment sections. You may be featured in a future video.
