Off-Grid Dual Flush and Dual Side Rain Water Harvesting Catch System

Off-Grid Dual Flush and Dual Side Rain Water Harvesting Catch System

In this video we show you our rain catch system. It’s been running the cabin for about 6 years and is a dual flush and dual tank catch system with a first flush on each side. This gets rid of the trash and impurities off the roof that we don’t want in our water. We can store 550 gallons of water and this will last us around 1-1/2 to 2 months depending on our conservation efforts. We don’t have a flush toilet so this saves our family of three a lot of water because we are not constantly flushing extra water through the toilet. We have a 1.2 gallon per minute rain head shower head and low flow sinks that save us addition water inside the home.
